EWE and Gasunie have completed a comprehensive letter of intent for the further development of the hydrogen market in Northwest Europe.
The two companies yesterday (4th Nov) confirmed the agreement, following the meeting of the Lower Saxon Hydrogen Network in Hanover.
Stefan Dohler, CEO of EWE, said, “EWE and Gasunie want to combine knowledge and market access to increase the potential of hydrogen across borders. The collaboration with Gasunie gives EWE access to infrastructure that goes far beyond our current business area.”
“I am convinced that through their cooperation Gasunie and EWE will make an important contribution to achieving the climate objectives in Europe, in particular the infrastructural interconnection of the transport and distribution networks of both partners – and the related, more integrated network planning. will enable a hydrogen infrastructure between the Netherlands and Hamburg. ”
