EverWind Fuels has announced the purchase of three wind farm development projects, representing 530MW of electricity, to power phase 1 of its green hydrogen and ammonia project in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Coming as $1bn of private investment to deliver the energy, it is hoped the purchases will create 650 construction and 30 full-time jobs in the region for the wind farms alone.
The wind farms, Windy Ridge, Bear Lake and Kmtnuk, will be developed and built in partnership with Renewable Energy Systems Ltd. (RES), which currently operates 12GW of wind assets.
