Everfuel and Hydro have joined forces to develop hydrogen electrolysers based on renewable energy in Europe.
Formalising the agreement today (May 20), the duo said they intend to develop projects adjacent to Hydro-owned aluminium plants with dedicated special purpose companies facilitating the construction and operation of each electrolyser.
Each of the special purpose companies involved in the projects will either be fully owned by Hydro, or majority owned by Everfuel, depending on the expected offtake for the specific site.
