Everfuel A/S has announced today (December 16) the production of the first hydrogen from its HySynergy project in Frederica, Denmark.
The company has said the initial production volumes from the 20MW electrolyser represent as “major milestone” in the journey towards the commercialisation of clean hydrogen as a clean energy source for industry and mobility.
Currently in its first phase, the facility is set to expand up to 300MW by 2025. Earlier today Everfuel revealed it was set to receive DKK 246.3m ($35.2m) from the Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI) programme.
