Everfuel have announced the completed the signing of a €200m ($211.3m) joint venture (JV) with Hy24, currently managing the ‘world’s largest’ clean hydrogen infrastructure fund.
The completion of the JV will commence financing on the development of electrolyser capacity across the Nordics, with an emphasis on support the EU market. Everfuel will own 51% of the JV and Hy24-managed Clean Hydrogen Infrastructure Fund holding 49%.
The JV includes plans to invest a total of €200m in equity in green hydrogen infrastructure in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, enabling the possibility to fund, build, own and operate up to 1GW of green hydrogen projects.
