This week marks the second edition of European Hydrogen Week (Nov 29 – Dec 3). Organised by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU), the next five days will see a weeks’ worth of digital events discussing hydrogen.
In celebration of this, H2 View will be publishing exclusive interviews with members of the European hydrogen community. To things off, here is an exclusive interview with Bart Biebuyck, Executive Director of the FCH JU.
Thank you for taking the time to talk to H2 View today. Firstly, for readers who may not be familiar with European Hydrogen Week, can you tell us more about the event and its inception?
Bart Biebuyck (BB): To match the unprecedented interest in hydrogen technologies, we are planning the second edition of the European Hydrogen Week. This follows a long tradition of our Stakeholder Forum (previously called General Assembly), which was organised by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) and on a yearly basis since 2008 and gathered the European Industry and Research communities and the decision-makers.
