Long-distance travel just got greener, with plans being unveiled for a green hydrogen-powered long-distance bus that’s expected to hit European roads in 2024.
Capable of driving approximately 200,000km annually, with distances up to more than 1,000km, the bus is thought to be a world first and a landmark milestone for the transportation industry.
The bus is being develop by a newly formed consortium of FlixMobility, Freudenberg Fuel Cell e-Power Systems and ZF Friedrichshafen AG under the project name HyFleet.
