Eternal Power will develop a hydrogen production facility in Germany and has already secured an offtake agreement, according to reports.
Located in Dummerstorf, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the plant, which will become operational in 2028, is expected to produce 8,000 tonnes of hydrogen per year. Eternal Power has stated it could expand from an 80MW electrolyser to 400MW in the future.
The company also secured initial commitments from undisclosed customers and signed a preliminary offtake agreement worth €2.3bn ($2.4bn).
