Eta Space has received an award from the US Department of Energy (DOE) to develop liquid hydrogen fuelling infrastructure for transportation.
Founded in 2019 by former NASA personnel, the US company better known for its cryogenic fluid management (CFM) technology for space and energy applications, but has now turned its attention to developing systems back down on Earth.
According to the company, its engineers have developed systems that eliminate the losses typically present in cryogenic liquids and has proved them in past NASA projects.
