Equinor has today (Feb 3) been named as the latest energy company to join the Centre for Hydrogen Safety (CHS), a global non-profit that supports and promotes the safe handling and use of hydrogen across industrial and consumer applications.
Joining over 70 organisations committed to safe hydrogen use and knowledge sharing, Equinor’s membership comes at a pivotal time as it continues to grow its commitment to hydrogen and play a leading role in multiple projects across the globe.
Welcoming the company’s move, Nick Barilo, Executive Director of CHS, said, “Equinor recognises hydrogen’s potential for supplying the world’s increasing energy demands and understands that safety is critical for its global adoption.
