French multinational energy and utility company ENGIE has announced its new shareholding in the European InnoEnergy company (KIC InnoEnergy S.E.).
At a European level, InnoEnergy supports innovative sustainable energy projects, start-ups and scale-ups via its accelerator and develops both initial training courses (Masters, PhD) and continuous certifying courses. This includes projects in the field of hydrogen energy.
For ENGIE, which operates in the fields of energy transition, electricity generation and distribution, natural gas, nuclear, renewable energy and petroleum, this represents a deepening of its activities in hydrogen.
The company has the ambition of being a major player in hydrogen and firmly believes that hydrogen is the key that will unlock the full potential of renewables and carbon-free energy solutions.
