Enapter secures orders for 2.5MW of AEM electrolysers in Italy’s hydrogen valley

Enapter has secured orders for 2.5MW of its AEM electrolysers from Italian industrial firms within state-subsidised hydrogen valley regions.

A 1MW Nexus 1000 multicore system will be installed at Cogne Acciali Speciali’s long stainless steel and nickel alloy products plant in the Aosta Valley to supply hydrogen for process heat applications.

Serving sectors including automotive, oil and gas, chemicals and aviation, the installation which is due to be powered by solar and hydropower is hoped to decarbonise Cogne’s production processes.
