Empire to lead food waste-to-hydrogen project for ARCH2

Empire Diversified Energy will become the first sub-recipient of the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub’s (ARCH2) federally granted funding.

ARCH2, which is set to receive up to $925m from the US Government’s $7bn Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs programme, has chosen Empire to produce hydrogen from food waste.
