A newly-launched German company is promising cost-competitive fuel cell stacks and components for a broad range of applications.
A joint venture between ElringKlinger and Plastic Omnium, EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies is already able to produce up to 10,000 stacks per year according to automotive industrial standards.
The two companies yesterday (1st March) announced the launch of EKPO, stating it hopes to drive investment for accelerating innovation, extending the commercial pipeline and increasing production capacity, with the aim to achieve a market share of 10-15% in 2030.
