Elogen has said it will supply German renewable energy firm Enertrag with a 10MW PEM electrolyser for a green hydrogen project near Magdeburg, Germany.
Set to be installed at the Magdeburg site in 2024, the electrolyser is expected to produce up to four tonnes of green hydrogen per day, to be used to aid the decarbonisation of heavy industry and heavy-duty transport.
Additionally, Enertrag has said green hydrogen produced from the site could be used to produce electricity in the event of low renewable energy generation, as well as plans to see green hydrogen introduced into gas transmission systems operated by Ontras.
