Electriq and Zenith Energy Terminals have signed an agreement to build a plant in the Port of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, to produce a solid hydrogen carrier.
Dubbed Electriq Powder, the carrier is said to act like daily used detergent powder by simplifying storage, transport and use of hydrogen in last mile, off-grid and backup applications.
Under the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the partners could see the production of green hydrogen using renewable energy generated by Zenith’s on-site wind turbines.
