Elcogen has been awarded €25.4m ($27m) in funding for a project to develop its solid oxide electrolysis (SOE) technology, as part of the Important Projects of Common European Interest (IPCEI).
Under the IPCEI Hy2 Tech project, seeing involvement from 15 EU member states, Elcogen will integrate its core SOE technology into partner system prototypes and designs of pilot lines to industrialise its products.
Lasting between July 2023 and June 2027, the project will see involvement Elcogen and other direct and indirect Hy2 Tech partners.
