A new joint development agreement (JDA) between Mitsubishi Power Americas and El Paso Electric will create a hydrogen roadmap as part of an effort to achieve a carbon-free energy mix by 2045.
With the joint development agreement aiming to attain an 80% carbon-free resource mix by 2035 ahead of the proposed 100% carbon-free energy mix by 2045, hydrogen will play a vital role in reaching these targets.
