Promising cost-competitive fuel cell stacks and components for a broad range of applications, ElringKlinger and Plastic Omnium launched their new joint venture company EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies on 1st March.
Already able to produce 10,000 stacks per year according to automotive industrial standards, EKPO is hoping to drive investment for accelerating innovation, extend the commercial pipeline and increase production capacity, with the aim of achieving a market share of 10-15% in 2030.
EKPO’s technology, applications and products for fuel cells are based on know-how the company has built up over more than two decades.
