EDF Group wants to develop 3GW of electrolytic hydrogen projects worldwide by 2030 as part of a €2bn-€3bn ($2.2bn-$3.3bn) investment.
The multinational electric utility firm on Wednesday (April 13) confirmed such ambitions with the release of its Hydrogen Plan that outlines its goal of being one of Europe’s hydrogen production leaders.
In order to achieve its goals, EDF said it will take full advantage of the expertise of its R&D, which has involved hydrogen for many years.
