Dr. Graham Cooley, CEO of ITM Power, just exclusively revealed further details about the electrolyser manufacturer’s second gigafactory at H2 View’s Virtual Hydrogen Summit Europe 2022.
Announcing the name as Aviation Park, Cooley said it will have a capacity of 1.5GW per annum, which is more than ITM Power’s first gigafactory at Bessemer Park, Sheffield, UK
“This is where we will increase the level of automation and by doing so drive down our costs and increase the volumes of PEM electrolysis equipment. It will be open at the end of 2023,” he told event attendees.
