Doosan Heavy Industries and KNHP have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today (May 13) to pursue hydrogen production using clean energy sources such as small modular reactors (SMRs) and hydroelectric power.
The two companies will continuously collaborate on several areas that cover the entire hydrogen value chain, such as implementation of hydrogen production and storage facilities and development of operational technologies.
This includes joint research and development for local and global hydrogen production based on SMRs and the joint development of hydrogen production technology and related projects using clean energy sources from overseas.
