Hungary is looking to decarbonise its gas grid with hydrogen as it strives to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
DNV is assisting in the potential transition, having today (Jan 18) been contracted by FGSZ to assess the suitability for partial to full hydrogen transport in one of its pipelines.
Headquartered in Siofok, Hungary, FGSZ is owner and operator of the Hungarian high-pressure transmission natural gas pipeline system servicing gas distribution companies, power plants and large industrial consumers.
