Deutz believes it is at the “vanguard” of a greener transport sector and has joined the eFuel Alliance just weeks after revealing its brand-new hydrogen engine (picturedabove).
The German engine manufacturer in August said it has developed the TCG 7.8 H2 engine to help accelerate the rollout of low and zero emission drive systems.
Deutz’s first purely hydrogen-powered engine for off-highway applications has already passed initial tests and is scheduled to go into full production in 2024.
