Delta Air Lines is set to use sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) derived from hydrogen as part of a newly signed offtake agreement which will see an 839MW electrolyser installation in the US.
Under the offtake agreement signed with DG Fuels, Delta will be supplied with 385 million gallons of SAF from 2026, as the airline strives to clean up its flight operations.
As part of the production of SAF, HydrogenPro will provide DG Fuels will an 839MW electrolyser installation at its Louisiana, US, facility, to produce hydrogen to make up the cleaner aviation fuel.
