Manufacturer and supplier of electrodes, coatings and complete electrochemical solutions De Nora has joined the Italian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.
Along with 45 other stakeholders, including international companies, universities, research centres and start-ups, De Nora will now contribute to the development of more sustainable and competitive hydrogen technologies.
Established in 2005, the Italian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association is currently the only Italian association committed to promoting the progress of knowledge and the study of disciplines relating to technologies and systems for the production and use of hydrogen.
“The development of green hydrogen will be essential to match future EU’s Climate and Industrial goals and reach carbon neutrality by 2050. The deployment of large-scale hydrogen electrolysers is recognised as a priority for the full decarbonisation of the energy system and the adoption of green chemicals,” De Nora said in a statement.
