Daryl Wilson has stepped down from his role as Executive Director of the Hydrogen Council to focus on his health.
In a statement released today (September 15), the Hydrogen Council said Wilson was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) last month (August).
“Daryl is receiving outstanding treatment in Canada and the prognosis by his medial team is 90% confident of being in remission in 30-60 days,” the statement said. “Given the intensity of the treatment and to focus on his recovery, Daryl has made the difficult yet heartfelt decision to step down from his role.”
Wilson was appointed as the Council’s first Executive Director in October 2020, and has since overseen the significant growth of the group – now boasting nearly 150 steering members, supporting members and investor group members.
