Dana Incorporated will provide its Spicer® Electrified™ e-Propulsion solution with integrated TM4® SUMO™ HP motor-inverter system as part of the three-year Alberta Zero-Emissions Truck Electrification Collaboration (AZETEC) project, working on developing hydrogen fuel solutions.
The system from Dana will power Class 8 tractor-trailer units that will move freight between Edmonton and Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
The trucks will be part of the $11.2m project which will involve the design and manufacture of heavy-duty, extended-range, hydrogen fuel cell electric hybrid trucks.
