CPH2 secures renewed electrolyser contracts for 2025

Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has renewed contract terms for its membrane-free electrolyser (MFE) with existing customers Northern Ireland Water and Fabrum Solutions.

The renewed contracts represent the order for three MFE220s resent to 2025. One system will be deployed in Belfast for Northern Ireland Water, whilst the other two will be delivered to Fabrum in New Zealand.

This announcement follows a successful factory acceptance test (FAT) of the MFE110, which confirmed the first customer acceptance and validation of the company’s scaled electrolyser technology.

The British firm recently moved into its commerciality phase, where the focus is on completing the three contracted MFE220s that will generate the first revenues in 2025. CPH2 is also focused on expanding its commercial pipeline.

Jon Duffy, CPH2 CEO, claimed the recommitment of its existing customers demonstrates a “strong underlying confidence in [the] MFE technology.”

He added, “As we move into the commercialisation phase, the continued interest from our customers supports our commitment to advancing the next phase of growth to deliver a robust, industry-ready commercial product for the hydrogen industry.”
