Covenant Logistics Group is cutting its fleet emissions with hydrogen, having today (Jan 11) inked a new deal for 40 Nikola Tre fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs).
Formalised with a Letter of Intent (LoI), which also includes the addition of ten battery-electric vehicles, the collaboration between the two firms follows the successful completion of the Nikola Tre BEV and Nikola Tre FCEV demonstration program.
It has already been confirmed that Covenant is expected to start testing the Tre FCEV in 2023.
