In pursuit of ensuring hydrogen safety standards, the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has formed a new Hydrogen Membership to represent all segments of the hydrogen economy in the Americas.
H2 View understands the Membership is open to any company engaged in the manufacture, sale, lease, transportation, or distribution of hydrogen or any equipment, materials, supplies, or technical services used in connection with the hydrogen industry, for businesses operating in the US, Canada, or Mexico.
It comes as the hydrogen market continues to grow in the Americas, following the introduction of the Inflation Reduction Act in the US, which sets out to offer tax credits for low-carbon production and fuel cell vehicles, with indications that Canada looks set to follow suit with similar policies.
