Up to $16m of funding will be available to support the establishment of commercial hydrogen fuelling infrastructure in California next month (April 2024).
Set to open on April 17, the Energy Infrastructure Incentives for Zero-Emission Commercial Vehicles (EnergIIZE) hydrogen funding lane will offer up to $3m per project to cover 50% of eligible equipment and software costs for standard projects.
Funded by the California Energy Commission (CEC) and administered by CALSTART, if applicants meet “certain equity criteria,” the 75% of the costs could be covered, with a maximum grant of $4m per project.
