Cologne bus operator further expands hydrogen-powered services

Cologne-based public transport operator, Regionalverkehr Köln GmbH (RVK), is set to run the biggest fleet of hydrogen-powered Solaris buses.

Announced today (June 6), the German operator has placed an order with Solaris Bus & Coach for 20 Urbino hydrogen buses, which will bring its total Solaris made fleet up to 35.

H2 View understands the contract allows for an additional order of another 20 Urbino 12 buses.
