ClearSign Technologies Corporation has successfully developed and tested its Ultra Low NOx burner fuelled by 100% hydrogen.
The project is being funded by a US Government grant through the Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) programme with the Department of Energy (DOE), with an initial funding of approximately $250,000.
It will now move into its next phase which will see the company submit a follow-up proposal with testing data and documented industry support to continue the development work with a phase two grant. ClearSign will apply for maximum funding, which can be up to $1.6m over two years.
