ClassNK has issued an Approval in Principle (AiP) for a maritime hydrogen fuel cell system, developed by YANMAR Power Technology.
The 300kW fuel cell system is designed with key auxiliary components including gas valve units integrated within the system enclosure, facilitating easy installation on ships.
The system also allows for parallel connection of multiple units and adjustments to the number of hydrogen fuel cell modules, meaning it can be adaptable to various ship output power requirements.
