The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) has reported that researchers have discovered a breakthrough in hydrogen generation.
In the recently published ‘Phase-dependent growth of Pt on MoS2 for highly efficient H2 evolution’ report, the University research team developed an efficient electrocatalyst to enhance hydrogen generation through electrocatalytic water splitting.
Led by Professor Zhang Hua, Herman Hu Chair Professor of Nanomaterials at CityU, the research team also included Professor Anthony R.J Kucernak, Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London, and researchers from other Universities and research institutes in Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and the UK.
