Cipher Neutron and Ionomr Innovations have entered into a collaboration agreement to create a 250kW anion exchange membrane (AEM) electrolyser.
It will be the ‘first’ North American-made AEM electrolyser and is expected to commercially produce affordable hydrogen gas in high volumes to enable the energy transition.
Ionomr will retain proprietary rights in its membrane and ionomer technologies, whilst Cipher Neutron and its partner dynaCERT will hold onto their equal rights in their AEM electrolyser technology under the dynaCERT and Cipher Neutron collaboration agreement.
