Chiyoda today (9th April) said it has joined the ‘Hydrogen Utilisation Study Group in Chubu’ which is looking to study the feasibility and potential for large-scale hydrogen use, as well as constructing a hydrogen supply chain, in Chubu, Japan.
The global engineering firm revealed it has joined the group, which already consists of companies from the energy sector, including oil, gas and electricity in addition to petrochemicals, automobiles and finance, to push hydrogen development in Chubu.
Through its participation in the Hydrogen Utilisation Study Group, Chiyoda’s goal is to develop a hydrogen supply chain by the mid-2020s to 2030.
