Chile aims to introduce hydrogen production technology into high schools as part of its new Green Hydrogen Action Plan.
Launched to reduce installation and production costs by 2030, the plan will explore how to establish the conditions during 2023 and 2026, before solutions will be implemented between 2026 and 2030.
Electrolyser equipment will be installed at Chilean high schools to teach the electrolysis process and other components of the hydrogen value chain at a young age. This is expected to begin in the Magallanes region, before continuing to Antofagasta and Biobío.
