Chile has signed memorandum of understanding’s (MoU) with some of Belgium’s largest ports, Antwerp and Zeebrugge, to support hydrogen production and create a hydrogen export corridor between the continents.
It is hoped that, through these MoU’s, that green hydrogen will flow between Chile and Western Europe as the agreement aims to set-up the logistics chain between the continents and logistics in Belgian seaports.
In establishing a corridor between Chile and Belgium, the two ports will aim to become key renewable energy hubs to support the energy transition in Europe.
