To help accelerate Quebec’s hydrogen sector, Marie Lapointe has been appointed as Executive Director of Hydrogène Québec and Regional Manager of Eastern Canada for the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA).
With over 30 years of experience under her belt, Lapointe will support the CHFCA’s provincial branch, overseeing marketing, communications, government relations and events for the sector.
Commenting on her appointment, Lapointe, said, “I am so honoured to join this dynamic and visionary team! 40 years ago, efficiently generating hydrogen for energy storage was still a dream, and now that people’s innovation has made it possible, the challenge will be to work together to support the realisation of long-lasting projects in the best places in Quebec and Canada.”
Welcoming Lapointe, Michel Archambault, Chair of Hydrogene Quebec, added, “Marie joins us at the perfect time and her wealth of experience will be instrumental in aligning the new Canadian Strategy for Hydrogen with the Quebec strategy and roadmap. We look forward to working with Marie and, on behalf of Hydrogène Québec, welcome her to our rapidly growing team!”
