The Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (CHFCA) has established a new affiliate in Ontario together with the province’s Hydrogen Business Council (HBC).
CHFCA acts a vehicle for national and regional collaboration and its affiliation strategy encourages increased participation of Canadian companies and legitimate ‘local business voice’ for hydrogen, while providing alignment on local, provincial, national and international messaging.
The HBC is a ‘like-minded community’ dedicated to bringing knowledge and opportunities to the minds and hands of those who can apply and realise the benefits of hydrogen technology in their work and their lives.
Speaking at a seminar to mark the launch, Robert Stasko, Executive Director at the Hydrogen Business Council in Ontario, said, “There is so much interest in the space right now for hydrogen in Canada, so it’s good we can look at not just what each province is doing, and especially what we’re doing as a country. We were being run by volunteers and students – we’re punching above our weight, and that’s another reason why the affiliation makes an awful lot of sense. We have more bandwidth now.”
