Chart Industries and New Zealand-based Fabrum have partnered to collaborate on the manufacture and sale of micro-scale liquefiers for hydrogen and other gases.
Suitable for systems under 5 tonnes per day, the micro-scale liquefiers are hoped to enable the small-scale production of liquid hydrogen, whilst also being suited to use in liquid natural gas and other cryogenic markets.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two companies, Fabrum will incorporate Chart’s products into the manufacturing of the micro-scale liquefiers, while Chart will add the product to its technology and equipment portfolio.
