Origin Energy’s Chairman and Director Gordan Cairns is set to retire in October and will be replaced by Scott Perkins.
The Australian company is committed to accelerating towards a cleaner energy future and hydrogen is one of the ways it can realise this vision.
Origin is particularly focusing on opportunities in green hydrogen using renewable energy and sustainably sourced water.
The company has a small dedicated team exploring a number of green hydrogen projects and working out how they will fit with Origin’s energy mix and business model for both domestic and export demand.
