With a story beginning in 1999, Cell Impact has always had an keen eye on the ever-developing fuel cell market, and in 2015 it decided to focus on its unique high-speed forming technology well suited for forming elaborate patterns in thin materials.
In 2018 the company decided on a new strategy to use its proprietary forming technology to focus on manufacturing flow plates instead of selling machinery and has now begun to supply fuel cell makers with flow plates.
Cell Impact’s strategy to produce and supply flow plates has been so well received in the fuel cell market that it decided to take on a new facility six times larger than the current one with an eye on growth.
Even as the world today fights against a global pandemic, Cell Impact is continuing to receive orders, and due to Sweden’s decision to not have a lockdown, the company has maintained its day-to-day operations without interruption throughout the year.
