The CEFC has made its first hydrogen related investment by funding Hysata, a new company dedicated to commercialising innovative electrolyser production technology, with a $750,000 investment in a $5m capital raise revealed today (June 17).
The investment was made on behalf of the Australian Government through its specialist Clean Energy Innovation Fund.
Hysata’s technology has been created by a team of researchers at the University of Wollongong where a purpose-built facility had been created to help transform multi-functional materials research into commercial reality.
