Caterpillar Inc has added a gas generator capable of running hydrogen blends to its portfolio of products.
The 12- and 16-cylinder versions of Cat® CG260 generator will be available for 50 or 60Hz applications, provide 4.5MW of continuous electric power and have been approved to operate on gas containing up to 25% hydrogen by volume.
