Caterpillar, Chevron, BNSF partner to introduce hydrogen-powered locomotives to US railways

The US is set to benefit from a new collaboration between Caterpillar, BNSF Railway Company and Chevron, that aims to introduce hydrogen locomotives to the nation.

With the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) revealed today (Dec 14), the companies will look to advance a demonstration of a train that is powered by hydrogen fuel cells to showcase the potential that this technology has.
