The Californian Air Resources Board (CARB) and CALSTART have reopened the popular Hydrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) to new voucher requests – including hydrogen.
The $165m reopening this year will help Californian-based businesses transform its fleets with new zero-emission vehicles, this includes hydrogen, helping to grow the green fuel source in this sector.
With an HVIP voucher, industry-leading vehicles can be as affordable as traditional fossil-fuelled counterparts, enabling purchasers of all sizes to deploy advanced technologies, such as hydrogen, that helps fleets achieve reductions in emissions and air pollution.
