In a bid to establish the region as a hydrogen powerhouse, the Wyoming Energy Authority (WEA) on Wednesday (July 20) announced it was issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for a prime contractor for the Western-Inter States Hydrogen Hub (WISHH).
The announcement comes after Wyoming joined Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah in signing a Memorandum of Understanding to create the WISHH coalition in February (2022), with intentions of receiving a slice of the DOE’s $8bn Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub fund.
